From the beginning, our goal has been to create a school that is both proudly local and confidently international. We wanted to give families in Muscat a place where their children could experience the rigour, opportunity, and prestige of a British education without losing touch with the culture and traditions that make Oman unique.

Our location, curriculum, and teaching philosophy reflect this dual commitment. We follow the British model, with its high standards, academic breadth, and strong pathways to higher education. We deliver this from a firm foundation in Omani language, customs and community connections.

Why "JEBEL VIEW"

Our Name Origin

At Jebel View International School, our name was chosen with purpose. While combining the Arabic Jebel with the English View we wanted to curate a unique approach that reflects exactly who we are: a school rooted in local identity, elevated by global aspiration.

Inspired by Strength and Stability

Across many cultures, including where our founding leaders come from, mountain ranges are majestic icons of the landscape, symbols of resilience and permanence. They stand firm, grounded, and unmovable; qualities that mirror the educational foundations that we are building here at JVI.
Just as a mountain’s base is solid rock, our students receive bedrock learning that will support them through graduation and into the future.

Mountains have peaks – sometimes challenging to reach, but always offering a journey of purpose.
